Hot Knife X-treme is a very powerful crystallizing encapsulation detergent and is a replacement formula for its very popular predecessor "Hot Knife".

Hot Knife X-treme is a completely new formula. It does not contain any butyl or other possibly harmful chemicals yet it out cleans the older formula by a wide margin. It is very environmentally friendly... over 99.7% readily biodegradable and has a very light, pleasant scent.

It has exceptional grease cutting power and cleansing action which penetrates, breaks up and emulsifies the oily film that binds dirt particles to carpet and upholstery fibers.

Its grease and oil cutting power is especially important when cleaning "Oil-Loving" fibers such as Olefin and Polyester.

    Amazing results

    I used hot Knife X-treme on a dance studio carpet with very bad brown spots, all of them came off immediately. Nothing but compliments from the customer. Thank you VacAway.

    very good all around encap cleaner

    I have been using this for a couple years now and it is very versatile. It works well on upholstery and this crystalizing encap works better than the film forming encaps in my opinion. I put it to the test by cleaning some bad grease spots with diluted degreaser, to remove the soil, and I finished encaping the area with Hot Knife x. I expected that degreaser to cause a bad resoiling condition because I usually would need to give it a thorough rinse. The spot did not resoil with time. I only gave it 4 stars though because I find that I need to use more oz. per gallon than recommended. Great stuff though.
